Forest History Society Databases

All of the databases provide useful, detailed information about primary or secondary resource materials that aid research in the broad fields of forest, conservation, and environmental history.
The Society's newest database is a catalog of images from the Forest History Society's Photograph Collection that have been scanned into a digital format. The Image Database is searchable via InMagic's Web Publisher Lite software.
The five additional databases compiled by the Society are searchable using Reference Web Poster software, which allows for searching across the five databases or just within a single database. Tips for searching in this software system appear near the end of this page.
The Foothills Model Forest

The Network is funded and administered by Natural Resources Canada and the Canadian Forest Service with other cash and in-kind contributions provided by program partners.
World Wildlife Fund: Forests for Life Program

In 1996, WWF launched the Forests for Life Campaign, which is working to achieve greater forest protection and promoting sustainable forest management world-wide.
The Tropical Forest Foundation

TFF was formed in 1990 by the International Wood Products Association at the Smithsonian Institution as an independent forum for the highest level of leadership from industry as well as scientific, academic and conservation organizations.
Association of Consulting Foresters (ACF)

The ACF is the only national association for consulting foresters.
The American Forest Foundation

The Private Forest Management Team
